Sometimes I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear And I, I can't help but ask myself How much I let the fear take the wheel and steer It's driven me before And it seems to have a vague, haunting mass appeal But lately I'm Beginning to find that I should be the one behind the wheel Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there With open arms and open eyes, yeah Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there I'll be there So if I decide to waiver my chance To be one of the hive Will I choose water over wine And hold my own and drive? Oh It's driven me before And it seems to be the way, that everyone else gets around But lately I'm Beginning to find that when I drive myself, my light is found Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there With open arms and open eyes, yeah Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there I'll be there Would you choose water over wine? Hold the wheel and drive Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there With open arms and open eyes, yeah Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there I'll be there Lyrics and song by: Incubus Lead singer: Brandon Boyd explains, “The lyric is basically about FEAR, about being driven all your life by it and making decisions from fear. It’s about imagining what life would be like if you didn’t live it that way.” Not being ruled by Fear. I get it. It can be easier said than done. Because we are constantly being bombarded. Market up 68% and GDP up over 3 trillion from when this magazine was issued in 2018 Market up over 265%, GDP up over 8 trillion from 2011. The fear mongering isn't isolated to just the U.S. Just to make sure they don't miss any region or country; they'll just name the whole world. We should all be living in a state of constant fear. Brandon Boyd of the band Incubus incapsulated it so well when he said, "It’s about imagining what life would be like if you didn’t live it that way.” Let's not only imagine it, let's live it. -Paul R.
